My new website…

Well, I have just completely redone my website, and here I am… writing my first blog. What an adventure, and I’m learning a lot! Actually, it’s great fun because I do have a bit of geek in me, but I never could have done it without a young woman named Jenn. My goodness… how is it possible that someone in her late twenties – who has never taken a computer class of any kind – can understand computer language so well, and develop the skills it takes to execute and customize a WordPress site? I have to tell you… there’s not much about WordPress that is user friendly, so I am in awe of the young people these days who seem to grasp this stuff with the ease in which I grasped drawing in crayons. Amazing. My son is like that – not much about computers and creating websites he doesn’t know.

I promise to update this site/blog as often as I can, but there will be times when I will be absent, I’m afraid. This summer is going to be incredibly busy for me with a big graphic design project for Liberty Mutual; chairing the 2012 Waterworks Exhibition for the Northwest Watercolor Society while taking on the job of Vice President; and – if enough people sign up – giving my “Watercolor for the Absolute Beginner” course at the Daniel Smith store in Bellevue, WA that starts with two free demonstrations in June. My oh my…

So, this is just the beginning. Please explore my site and comment on this blog if you would like. You can also sign up for my newsletter that I email about 6-8 times a year by clicking on the link at the bottom of the page. Or you can write me directly using the contact form. I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.

Thanks so much…
